Lab Initiatives: Started the Speech Lab in Mar. 2001 as a part of Language Technologies Research Center (LTRC) in International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad.
Projects Involved: Speech synthesis, speech recognition and text processing for Indian languages, Small foot print engines of speech synthesis and recognition, Speech segmentation, Ultra-low bit speech coding, Information retrieval, Learning from examples and by doing.
